After a Navy SEAL fails to rescue a scientist who developed a top secret device, he is assigned to guard the man's children while searching for information on where the device may be hidden inside the house. Along the way, he must cope with rebellious teens, child care, an overbearing school official, and foreign spies also looking for it.
Having recovered from wounds received in a failed rescue operation, Navy SEAL Shane Wolfe is handed a new assignment: Protect the five Plummer kids from enemies of their recently deceased father – a government scientist whose top-secret experiment remains in the kids' house.
It is a very good movie. Vin diesel is awesome lots of electric gadgets mazes and tunnels this movie would we a very nice movie only for kids NO PARENTS ALLOWED!!! The ending is so different from what you are going to imagine. Seal Shane Wolf is the best baby sitter and the navy man after his father. It is a great mystery movie and lots of deceivers. This movie has so many cool gadgets than you can ever imagine.Lots of action but all comedy. Lots of breath taking events and lots of you don't have a chance events. Lots of very funny wrestling. Zoe Seth Lulu Peter Tyler are the 5 funniest troublemaking children in the Plummer family
I attended the screening of this film tonight in Phoenix, Az.. And I Have to say Vin did an OK job. This movie plays like a Jackie Chan movie and a Power Ranger episode. Vin goes undercover as to protect a slain professor's family. Of course The kids don't want him there so they try to wreck the HOME ALONE- type havoc. But it don't work. I'm not going to give anything away. But this movie holds tons of surprises. Vin isn't funny, hes just cute in it. Its a nice change of pace to show his soft side. Plus the brother from everybody loves Raymond takes the movie away from him. I wish he had more scenes. I knew who the villains were when they dressed up in disguise to try to fight 0ur hero. That was the big mistake the filmmakers made on that part. But oh well. Vin is surprisingly helpful. And the ladies will get a whiff of him in his towel. So take the family to see The Pacifier.
With no real comedy to enjoy, it's torture to watch Diesel undergo a predictable change from emotionless soldier to loving family man. Makes you want to spit out your pacifier in disgust.
In order to obtain the PG rating in Britain, the word "spaz" has been replaced by "jerk" in one sentence.
